How to set up IPTV Pro
Step 1 — Order a line or start the free trial
Your details arrive by email and are not tied to one device.
Step 2 — Install a player from the App Store
There is no sideloading on Apple platforms and you do not need it. On Apple TV, use the Search tab rather than dictation.
Step 3 — Enter your details on the iPhone first
Typing a long URL is far easier on a phone. Many players then sync the line to your iPad and Apple TV through iCloud.
Step 4 — Play on the Apple TV directly
Install the player on the Apple TV rather than AirPlaying from a phone. AirPlay re-encodes on the phone and drops far more often.
Fixing common iOS and Apple TV IPTV problems
Streams fail on cellular but work on Wi-Fi
Check Settings → Mobile Data and confirm IPTV Pro is allowed. If it is, you are probably already streaming on another device — one line carries one stream at a time.
AirPlay to Apple TV drops after a few minutes
AirPlay re-encodes on the phone and is sensitive to Wi-Fi interruption. Install IPTV Pro on the Apple TV and play there directly — the stream then goes to the Apple TV over your network rather than through the phone twice.
Some channels will not play on iOS but work elsewhere
iOS decodes a narrower set of containers than Android. MPEG-TS over HTTP is fine; obscure RTMP or RTSP sources are not. Message us for the HLS variant of that channel.
The Siri Remote scrolls the guide too fast
The touch surface is very sensitive. Set guide navigation to Step rather than Glide under Settings → Navigation so one swipe moves one row.
