IPTV on Samsung and LG Smart TV

To watch IPTV Pro on a Samsung or LG Smart TV, install an IPTV player from the TV’s own store — Samsung Apps on Tizen, or the LG Content Store on webOS — and enter the M3U URL or Xtream Codes login we email you. No extra box is needed.

Samsung and LG both run their own operating systems rather than Android, so an Android APK will never install on either. That is the single most common confusion on this platform, and it is why so many Smart TV IPTV guides end with “plug in a Firestick”. You do not have to. Both stores carry IPTV players built natively for those platforms, and your IPTV Pro line works in them.

How to set up IPTV Pro

Step 1 — Order a line or start the free trial

Tell us it is a Samsung or LG television so we can point you at a player that exists on your platform.

Step 2 — Open your TV’s own app store

On Samsung press Home and choose Apps. On LG press Home and open the LG Content Store. Neither runs Android, so an APK will never install — this is the single most common mistake on this platform.

Step 3 — Install an IPTV player and pin it

Both platforms drop new apps at the far right of the launcher ribbon. Move it left so it is not three presses away.

Step 4 — Enter your login details from your phone

Use the player’s pairing code. TV keyboards on both platforms are slow enough that this is genuinely worth doing.

Fixing common Smart TV IPTV problems

The app is missing from the store

Either the TV is older than the versions listed above, or the store’s region does not carry it. Check the software version under Settings → Support → About, and update the TV firmware before concluding it is unsupported.

The whole TV slows down with a large playlist

Smart TV app memory budgets are far tighter than any streaming stick. Above roughly 10,000 channels, use Xtream Codes rather than an M3U, or split the playlist by category.

Picture is smooth but looks like a soap opera

That is the TV’s motion interpolation, not the stream. Turn off Auto Motion Plus on Samsung or TruMotion on LG. Both are on by default in most picture presets.

The app closes when you switch to a TV input and back

Both platforms suspend apps on input change and will terminate them under memory pressure. IPTV Pro restores your last channel on relaunch, so the fastest fix is to reopen it rather than to hunt through settings.

Questions about this device

Can I install an Android APK on a Samsung or LG Smart TV?

No. Samsung runs Tizen and LG runs webOS, neither of which is Android, so an APK will never install. Both stores carry native IPTV players, and your IPTV Pro line works in them.

Do I need a Firestick or Android box for my Smart TV?

Not on a supported Samsung or LG set. Install a player from the television’s own store and enter the details we send you.

Does IPTV Pro include the app as well?

No, and you do not need it to. Your subscription is a login — an M3U URL or Xtream Codes details — that works in any mainstream IPTV player from your device’s own store. Choosing and installing one is part of the setup help we give you.

What if I cannot get it working?

Message us on WhatsApp at +44 7475 498002 with the device you are on and what you are seeing. We will walk you through it until channels are playing. That help is included on the free trial as well as on paid plans.

Can I watch on this device and another at the same time?

You can install your details on as many devices as you like, but one line plays one stream at a time. For simultaneous viewing on two screens, order a second line.
